Delivery Terms and Conditions

We want your firewood delivery to be hassle-free! Please read the following information carefully to help our delivery run efficiently.

Our delivery advice

Due to the nature of our firewood processing, your delivery will include some smaller pieces of wood shards, splinters and bark mixed in with the logs.

We recommend laying down a tarp or old bed sheet before delivery to make tidying up easier — it also acts as a clear indicator for our driver of where you’d like the logs deposited.

Vehicle details:

Ford Transit tipper: approx. 6m in length, 2.1m wide and 2.2m tall.

Tip-truck delivery:

Deliveries must be made onto a private driveway or suitable area on your property. We’re unable to tip onto public roads or anywhere that may restrict neighbours’ access.

Forward movement during tipping:

When unloading, the truck needs to move forward approximately 2 metres as the bed rises and the load is tipped. Please ensure there is adequate space around the drop-off area to allow for this movement.

Overhead clearance:

The tipper bed raises to unload, so the delivery area must have sufficient overhead clearance — clear of trees, wires, eaves, or other obstacles.

Clear drop-off area:

Please make sure the area is flat, safe, and free of obstacles (vehicles, bins, gates, etc.) before we arrive to ensure a smooth and safe delivery.

Accurate delivery details:

We require a full delivery address and contact number for every order.
For rural or hard-to-find locations, please also provide either a Google or Apple Maps pin, or What3Words reference. This ensures our driver can find you without delay.

Delivery conditions and charges:

Unsafe or obstructed sites may result in delivery rescheduling or additional charges. If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful because the site does not meet the requirements outlined in this policy, the original delivery charge will still apply, and any subsequent delivery attempts will incur an additional charge.

Vehicle details:

Curb-side or accessible drop-off:

Deliveries are made curb-side or within 5 metres of easy vehicular access. “Easy access” means the driver can safely reach the drop-off point without risk of damage to the vehicle or property — final discretion rests with the driver on the day.

Clear drop-off area:

Please make sure the delivery area is clear of obstacles, including vehicles, bins, gates, or other materials before we arrive. This helps us complete your delivery safely and efficiently.

Assistance with unloading:

Someone must be present on-site to assist with unloading.
If no one will be available, please let us know in advance so we can make suitable arrangements. Unattended deliveries must be agreed prior to dispatch.

Accurate delivery details:

We require a full delivery address and contact number for every order.
For rural or hard-to-find locations, please also provide either:

• A Google or Apple Maps pin, or
• A What3Words reference.
  This ensures our driver can find you without delay.

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful because the site does not meet the requirements outlined in this policy, the original delivery charge will still apply, and any subsequent delivery attempts will incur an additional charge.

We will always do our best to deliver at the agreed time, but traffic, weather, or site access issues may occasionally cause delays.

Third-party delivery:

This delivery is arranged and carried out by a third-party Hiab truck operator. Our team coordinates the delivery but does not directly unload.

Clear unloading area:

The unloading area must be flat, safe, and free of obstacles, including vehicles, bins, fences, or overhead obstructions. This ensures the Hiab can safely operate and offload your delivery.

On-site supervision required:

Someone must be present on-site to supervise the unloading. Please make sure your representative is ready to guide the placement of materials.

Delivery details required:

Provide a full delivery address and contact number. For rural or hard-to-find locations, a Google or Apple Maps pin or What3Words reference is required, along with any access notes (gate codes, obstacles, etc.).
