Rough Sawn Hardwoods
Kiln-dried, rough sawn hardwoods and softwoods
At Scottish Wood we sell to both public and trade – our kiln-dried, rough sawn hardwoods are perfect for furniture making and joinery.
Once timber is finished drying in the kiln, it gets moved into our rough sawn hardwood (and softwood) stores. From the stores, we pull material suitable for completing orders in the yard; or select new stock to be planed and added to the shelves in the timber shop.
Trade customers are also welcome to select and buy our rough sawn hardwoods directly from the stores. Our rough sawn stock is sold self-select and is priced on volume (ft3).
Sizes
We cut our hardwoods at standard sizes. Stock levels vary depending on air-drying and kilning schedules – to enquire about stock levels before your visit, please get in touch.
