Shop Scottish Timber

Visitors are always welcome to browse our timber shop, located at our sawmill in Fife. Our timber shop offers a much wider selection than is available online. 

Whether you’re selecting boards for a furniture project, looking for turning blanks, or simply searching for inspiration, we’re always happy to help you find the right timber.

Because every piece of timber is unique, our online shop can’t always reflect the full variety of stock we have available. 

If you’re searching for a particular species, size, thickness, grain pattern, or feature such as pippy, burr, quarter sawn, spalted, or live edge timber, get in touch and we’ll be happy to check our timber stores for you.

All online prices include standard delivery throughout mainland UK and Northern Ireland. Delivery to the Scottish Islands may incur an additional charge – please see our online shop Terms & Conditions or get in touch for more information. 

Unless otherwise stated, all boards listed in our online shop are kiln dried and planed, ready for use in a wide range of woodworking projects. 

For multiple purchases, we’re happy to combine shipping where possible. Simply contact us after placing your order and we’ll refund any applicable delivery charges. 

You’re also welcome to collect your order from our timber shop in Fife. Collection is free, and we’ll remove or refund the delivery charge accordingly.

Scottish Wood specialises in sustainably sourced, Scottish-grown timber. We stock kiln-dried straight-edge and waney edge hardwood boards, burrs, offcuts and turning blanks in homegrown species including oak, elm, ash, sycamore, beech and yew.
