A Guide to Larch Cladding – by the Association of Scottish Hardwood Sawmillers

Scottish Wood was commissioned by the Association of Scottish Hardwood Sawmillers (ASHS) to produce an educational video guide covering all aspects of Scottish larch cladding.

The video explores timber selection, processing, cladding styles, installation practises, maintenance advice, and techniques to help achieve the best long-term performance from timber cladding.

The Association of Scottish Hardwood Sawmillers is a co-operative of small and medium-sized sawmills and timber processors, committed to growing the market for Scottish-grown timber and encouraging the use of locally sourced material. Scottish Wood have been a member of ASHS since the early 2000s and produced this film as part of the organisation’s 2022 work programme.
