Board on Board Cladding
Back to all cladding typesBoard on board is a sawn cladding, with boards provided in a fine sawn finish. If you’re after a more contemporary look, it can also be provided with a smooth planed finish.
Board on board is a vertical cladding, using staggered overlapping boards to cover the joints. Installation is quick and straightforward, resulting in a protective, durable finish with a neat, rustic appearance.
Sawn claddings are a classic choice in Scotland. For a similar aesthetic, batten on board cladding is also available.

Bespoke sizing available
For batten on board and board on board cladding, we frequently cut orders to bespoke sizing. Bespoke widths and thicknesses are typically very easy for us to manage for both boards and battens.
The price for custom sizing will vary from the standard pricing shown based on the change in total volume, but besides this, we typically don’t charge a premium for bespoke sizes in sawn cladding.
