Shadow Gap Cladding
Back to all cladding typesShadow gap is an overlapping vertical cladding profile.
The overlapping boards provide reliable protection from the elements, offering the same effective coverage as tongue and groove profiles, while being quicker and easier to install.
Shadow gap isn’t recommended for horizontal use, as rainwater can collect in the gaps without a clear path to drain away. For a similar aesthetic in horizontal applications, shiplap cladding provides a good alternative.
